Marmon Lift Recruitment is supporting one of the UK’s leading independent lift companies in the search for an experienced and driven Lift Service Manager based in Southampton.
Now operating as a stand-alone, PE-backed business, our client is undergoing significant transformation and growth. The Lift Service Manager role is a key appointment within this journey, providing leadership, technical oversight, and operational excellence across the Service Department.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Lift Service team, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality delivery of all repair and maintenance activities.
- Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and performance management to meet customer expectations and contractual deadlines.
- Foster strong client relationships, handling escalations and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
- Drive safety culture and compliance, conducting audits and ensuring proper use of PPE, tools, and vehicles.
- Support hiring, training, and development of engineers and office staff.
- Manage budgets and performance metrics to ensure profitability and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Account Managers and internal teams to deliver seamless service and quality outcomes.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven leadership experience within the lift industry, ideally in service or repairs management.
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing lift service, engineering operations, or related services.
- Strong technical understanding of lift systems and safety standards.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client relationship skills.
- Confident using service management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Committed to delivering operational excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction.
