Marmon Lift Recruitment is working with a global stairlift engineering business specialising in the installation, servicing and repair of accessibility equipment across domestic properties throughout the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Stairlift Engineer to cover Middlesbrough and the Northeast of England.

Commutable from: Middlesbrough, Darlington, Sunderland, Newcastle upon Tyne, Hartlepool, Durham, Bishop Auckland, Seaham, Whitley Bay, Consett, Carlisle.

Responsibilities of a Stairlift Engineer:
  • Install straight and curved stairlifts within customer homes
  • Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance of stairlifts and lifting products
  • Diagnose faults efficiently and complete repairs to a high standard
  • Work on through-floor lifts and step lifts where required
  • Complete all paperwork accurately using company devices and software
  • Deliver excellent customer service to both council and private customers
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures
  • Maintain company vehicle, PPE and equipment to company standards
The Ideal Stairlift Engineer Candidate:
  • Demonstrable experience working with stairlifts
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding ability
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Level 2 Certificate in Installation & Maintenance of Stairlifts is desirable
  • Experience with major stairlift manufacturers is advantageous
