Marmon Lift Recruitment is working with a well-established mobility company that is now looking to recruit an experienced Mobility Engineer to join its growing team. This is a varied role involving the installation, servicing, repair, and call-out of mobility equipment, specifically stairlifts and hoists, across London and the Home Counties. Routing may be adapted based on your location and skill set.

Commutable from: Luton, St Albans, Stevenage, Hemel Hempstead, Leighton Buzzard, Watford, Aylesbury

Mobility Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Installation, servicing, and repair of stairlifts and hoists
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown visits
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely
  • Attend call-outs as part of the on-call rota
  • Deliver high levels of customer service at all times
  • Complete accurate service records and adhere to safety standards

The Ideal Mobility Engineer:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar engineering role – ESSENTIAL
  • Strong knowledge of mobility equipment – ESSENTIAL
  • Ability to diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and perform routine servicing – ESSENTIAL
  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) – DESIRABLE
  • Flexible approach to travel across London and the Home Counties – ESSENTIAL
  • Full UK Driving Licence – ESSENTIAL

Working Pattern:

  • 1 night per week on-call
  • 1 weekend in 6 on-call
