Marmon Lift Recruitment is seeking an experienced Head of Service Sales to join a well-established passenger lift company in a senior commercial leadership position. You will take ownership of the service sales strategy, leading the growth of the company's passenger lift maintenance portfolio and developing a strong pipeline of new service contract opportunities. The role carries a clear objective to generate more than £1 million in additional annual revenue.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established lift industry sales professional to shape a growing service sales function. You will build relationships with property managers, facilities management companies, consultants and other key decision-makers while working closely with operational teams to ensure new contracts are commercially viable and successfully mobilised.

The position is based in London with hybrid working available. You will be expected to work from the company's South East London office approximately two days per week, with the remainder split between home working, client meetings and site visits.

Key Responsibilities of a Head of Service Sales:

  • Develop and deliver a passenger lift service sales strategy targeting £1 million+ in additional annual revenue.
  • Build and convert a strong pipeline of high-value maintenance contract opportunities.
  • Lead tenders, proposals, presentations and commercial negotiations through to contract award.
  • Develop senior relationships with property managers, consultants, managing agents and FM providers.
  • Ensure contracts are accurately priced, commercially viable and successfully mobilised.
  • Monitor performance, revenue, and conversion rates, and provide forecasts to senior leadership.
  • Support the continued development of the service sales team and wider commercial strategy.

Requirements of a Head of Service Sales:

  • Proven success selling passenger lift maintenance contracts and securing high-value portfolios.
  • Strong knowledge of service agreements, pricing, margins and operational delivery.
  • An established network within the London lift, property, consultancy or FM markets.
  • Strong tendering, negotiation, presentation and business development skills.
  • Commercially astute, target-driven and confident engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, forecasting, communication and organisational skills.
  • Able to work autonomously and attend the South East London office twice per week.
