Marmon Lift Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Lift Tester to join a leading lift engineering business, carrying out the testing and commissioning of new passenger lift installations across Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's most respected lift engineering businesses, delivering high-profile new installation projects across commercial, residential and landmark developments. The company is committed to investing in its engineers through ongoing technical training, career progression, and exposure to some of the industry's most prestigious projects.

Commutable from: Central London, Westminster, Camden, Islington, Kensington, Chelsea, Hammersmith, Fulham, Ealing, Barnet, Croydon, Watford, Slough and surrounding areas.

Ideal Lift Tester:

  • NVQ Level 4 in Lift Engineering or equivalent - Essential
  • Full UK driving licence - Essential
  • Proven experience in testing and commissioning new passenger lift installations
  • Strong knowledge of lift standards, regulations and commissioning procedures
  • Confident fault-finding and resolving technical issues during commissioning
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely alongside installation teams, project managers and customers

Responsibilities of a Lift Tester:

  • Ensure all installations comply with current legislation, British Standards and company quality procedures
  • Diagnose and resolve technical faults during the commissioning process
  • Complete commissioning documentation, testing records and certification accurately
  • Support installation teams with technical guidance to ensure projects are delivered safely and on schedule
  • Maintain excellent customer service and the highest standards of health and safety throughout the commissioning process
