Marmon Lift Recruitment is working with a specialist mobility and healthcare equipment provider that delivers installation, servicing, and repair solutions across hospitals, care homes, schools, and private residences throughout the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Mobility Engineer to join their engineering team.

Responsibilities of a Mobility Engineer:
  • Install, service and repair mobility and assistive equipment
  • Work on ceiling hoists, changing couches, adjustable baths and basins, and specialist healthcare products
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and carry out repairs
  • Complete planned maintenance and emergency breakdown work
  • Accurately record work using company software and mobile devices
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools and stock levels
  • Deliver excellent customer service across healthcare and domestic environments
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety and manufacturer standards
The Ideal Mobility Engineer Candidate:
  • Experience servicing, repairing or installing mobility equipment preferred
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
  • Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams and service instructions
  • Experience using testing equipment and power tools
  • Basic IT skills and confidence using tablets/software
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • PASMA, IPAF, CITB or similar qualifications are advantageous
