Marmon Lift Recruitment is seeking an experienced and technically strong Lift Project Manager to deliver lift modernisation projects across Glasgow. This role is ideal for a qualified lift engineer who has progressed into project management and is looking to take full ownership of modernisation works from survey through to handover, as it requires a strong technical understanding of lift systems.

Commutable from: Glasgow, East Kilbride, Airdrie, Paisley, Clydebank, Falkirk, Edinburgh, Dumbarton, Cumbernauld, Wishaw, Kilmarnock.

About the Lift Project Manager Role:

  • End-to-end responsibility for lift modernisation projects from planning through to completion.
  • Full project ownership with support from commercial and finance teams.
  • Delivery of lift modernisation works across a varied portfolio.
  • Acting as the key point of contact for clients, engineers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lift modernisation projects to programme, budget, and safety targets.
  • Oversee installation, testing, commissioning and client handover.
  • Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, HSE standards and RAMS.
  • Coordinate lift engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
  • Lead site briefings, inspections and quality assurance checks.
  • Manage plant, lifting operations, logistics and site planning.
  • Monitor project costs, forecasting and reporting with commercial support.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and stakeholder communication.
  • Manage defects, snagging and final project close-out.

What We’re Looking For:

  • NVQ Level 3 or above in Lift Engineering (essential).
  • Strong background as a lift engineer within the lift industry.
  • Proven experience managing lift modernisation projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to take projects from survey and planning through to completion.
  • Strong technical knowledge of lift systems and modernisation processes.
  • Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.
  • Strong HSE awareness and compliance knowledge.
  • Full UK driving licence.
