This is a senior opportunity for a highly competent engineer who wants to earn strong money, take responsibility, and play a key role in supporting and leading others within the team.
Commutable from: Derby, Nottingham, Burton-upon-Trent, Castle Donnington, Ashbourne, Belper, Ilkeston, Long Eaton, Stapleford.
Responsibilities of a Stairlift Engineer:
- Install straight and curved stairlifts in customer homes to a high standard.
- Carry out advanced fault-finding, servicing, and repairs in line with manufacturer standards.
- Lead by example on-site, supporting and mentoring junior engineers where required.
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical support.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure full compliance with safety procedures.
- Assist with scheduling, travel planning, and preparation of parts and equipment.
- Participate in the standby/call-out rota.
The Ideal Stairlift Engineer Candidate:
- Advanced and competent stairlift engineer with significant industry experience (essential).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working with stairlifts (essential).
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills (essential).
- Relevant electrical qualifications (essential).
- Proven ability to lead a team or act as a senior/lead engineer (essential).
- CSCS and/or SSSTS certification (desirable).
- Strong knowledge of major stairlift manufacturers (desirable).
