Marmon Lift Recruitment is working with a well-established mobility company that is now looking to recruit an experienced Mobility Engineer to join its growing team. This is a varied role involving the installation, servicing, repair, and call-out of mobility equipment, specifically stairlifts and hoists, across London and the Home Counties. Routing may be adapted based on your location and skill set.
Commutable from: Croydon, Wimbledon, Mitcham, Brixton, Purley, Beckenham, Bromley, Orpington, Kingston-upon-Thames
Mobility Engineer Responsibilities:
- Installation, servicing, and repair of stairlifts and hoists
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown visits
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely
- Attend call-outs as part of the on-call rota
- Deliver high levels of customer service at all times
- Complete accurate service records and adhere to safety standards
The Ideal Mobility Engineer:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar engineering role – ESSENTIAL
- Strong knowledge of mobility equipment – ESSENTIAL
- Ability to diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and perform routine servicing – ESSENTIAL
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) – DESIRABLE
- Flexible approach to travel across London and the Home Counties – ESSENTIAL
- Full UK Driving Licence – ESSENTIAL
Working Pattern:
- 1 night per week on-call
- 1 weekend in 6 on-call
