I'm recruiting for a well-established and growing lift business with a strong focus on service quality, customer relationships and developing its people. They're looking for an experienced Service Manager to take ownership of the service operation and play a key role in the next stage of the company's growth.

This isn’t a purely desk-based management role. You’ll be leading the service team, supporting engineers in the field, dealing with clients and having genuine input into how the department operates and develops.

The Role

  • Leading and managing Lift Service Engineers and Service Coordinators
  • Planning and overseeing PPM, reactive callouts and breakdowns
  • Managing lift shutdowns and ensuring issues are followed through to resolution
  • Monitoring engineer workloads, performance and service KPIs
  • Supporting engineers with technical, operational and safety requirements

The Person

Lift industry Service Management experience is essential. You’ll be an experienced Service Manager who understands the demands of running a lift service operation and knows how to get the best from an engineering team. You’ll be a strong communicator, organised and commercially aware, with the confidence to deal with engineers, clients and senior management.
