You'll be responsible for a varied portfolio of passenger and goods lifts, providing advanced technical support, fault diagnosis and specialist expertise across the region. Ideal Lift Tester:
- NVQ Level 4 in Lift Engineering or equivalent - Essential
- Full UK driving licence - Essential
- Proven experience in testing and commissioning new passenger lift installations
- Strong knowledge of lift standards, regulations and commissioning procedures
- Confident fault-finding and resolving technical issues during commissioning
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely alongside installation teams, project managers and customers
Responsibilities of a Lift Tester:
- Ensure all installations comply with current legislation, British Standards and company quality procedures
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults during the commissioning process
- Complete commissioning documentation, testing records and certification accurately
- Support installation teams with technical guidance to ensure projects are delivered safely and on schedule
- Maintain excellent customer service and the highest standards of health and safety throughout the commissioning process
