Lift Repairs Manager Lift Industry, Lift Repairs, Service Management Cambridge Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 Marmon Lift Recruitment is seeking an experienced Lift Repairs Manager to lead repair operations, manage engineering teams, oversee quotations, and drive commercial performance for a well-established lift engineering company. Commutable from: Cambridge, Ely, Newmarket, Huntingdon, St Neots, Royston, Saffron Walden, Haverhill, Bedford, and surrounding areas. The Lift Repairs Manager Role * Identify repair and LOLER defect opportunities from service reports and breakdowns * Prepare, price, negotiate, and follow up repair quotations to secure orders * Manage client relationships and refer modernisation opportunities to the relevant team * Maintain CRM records and oversee repair engineers, subcontractors, workloads, and scheduling * Monitor costs, margins, parts availability, supplier pricing, and lead times * Ensure repair quality, Health & Safety, test certificates, and documentation meet required standards * Track KPIs and contribute to monthly operational reports * Manage procurement, purchase orders, stock, deliveries, returns, warranties, and site logistics * Oversee tools and test equipment, including inspections, calibration, PAT testing, and certification * Provide equipment pricing and lead times for new lift tenders when required The Lift Repairs Manager Candidate * Proven lift industry experience in repairs, service management, or a senior technical role * Strong knowledge of lift engineering, repairs, and LOLER defect rectification * Experience quoting repair works, managing projects, and controlling costs and margins * Confident team leader with strong organisational, scheduling, and workload management skills * Commercial awareness of procurement, suppliers, and stock control * Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills * Competent with CRM and job management systems * Proactive, solutions-focused, with a commitment to quality and Health & Safety Apply for the Lift Repairs Manager position: 1.
