Marmon Lift Recruitment is working with a well-established mobility company seeking to recruit an experienced Stairlift Engineer to join its growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Stairlift Engineer looking to expand their skill set to include platform and through-floor lifts, with full training provided for the right candidate. Engineers with existing platform lift experience are highly desirable; candidates with strong stairlift engineering experience who are keen to develop further are encouraged to apply.
The role involves installation, servicing, repair, and call-out work on stairlifts, through-floor lifts, and platform lifts across London and the Home Counties. Routing may be adapted based on your location and experience.
Commutable from: Brentford, Hounslow, Richmond, Ealing, Acton, Fulham, Twickenham, Feltham, Greenford, Wembley, Hammersmith, West Drayton.
Stairlift Engineer Responsibilities:- Installation, servicing, and repair of stairlifts, through-floor lifts, and platform lifts.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown visits.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely.
- Attend call-outs as part of the on-call rota.
- Deliver high levels of customer service at all times.
- Complete accurate service records and adhere to safety standards.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in stairlift engineering – ESSENTIAL.
- Experience working on platform lifts and/or through-floor lifts – DESIRABLE.
- Strong fault-finding and repair skills – ESSENTIAL.
- Willingness to train and develop on additional lift products – ESSENTIAL.
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) – DESIRABLE.
- Flexible approach to travel across London and the Home Counties – ESSENTIAL.
- Full UK Driving Licence – ESSENTIAL.
Working Pattern: 1 night per week on-call, 1 weekend in 6 on-call.
