Marmon Lift Recruitment is recruiting an experienced National Lift Service Manager to join a successful and growing independent lift and escalator business.

You will take responsibility for the performance and delivery of the company's national service operation, leading service teams and ensuring consistently high standards across the UK. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role offering genuine influence over how the Service Department operates and develops.

Commutable from: Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley, Solihull, Coventry, Kidderminster, Telford, Lichfield, Shrewsbury, Redditch, Stafford, and surrounding areas.

The National Lift Service Manager Role:

  • Lead and develop the national lift service operation
  • Manage and support Service Managers, supervisors and engineering teams
  • Oversee PPM delivery, breakdowns, callouts and lift shutdowns
  • Monitor service KPIs, engineer productivity, response times and performance
  • Ensure technical and operational issues are followed through to resolution
  • Maintain consistent service standards across all regions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients
  • Review engineer coverage, workloads and operational resources
  • Identify and implement improvements to processes and service delivery
  • Support the continued growth and development of the Service Department
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety and compliance

The Ideal Lift Service Manager Candidate:

  • Strong experience within lift service and maintenance
  • Previous experience in a Service Manager, Regional Service Manager or National Service Manager position
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Good technical understanding of lift servicing, maintenance and breakdowns
  • Strong leadership, communication and people-management skills
  • Commercially aware with a focus on service quality and customer retention
  • Confident managing KPIs, operational performance and client relationships
  • Comfortable managing nationwide service works
