We are currently recruiting for an experienced Duct Fitter to join a project in Peterborough on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled ductwork professional with experience installing ventilation and ductwork systems within commercial, industrial or construction environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing and fitting ductwork and ventilation systems in line with drawings and project specifications.
- Reading and working from technical drawings and installation plans.
- Measuring, cutting and assembling ductwork accurately.
- Installing associated brackets, supports and fittings.
- Working alongside other trades and site teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
- Completing work to a high standard and in accordance with site health and safety requirements.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Duct Fitter / Ductwork Fitter.
- Proven experience installing ductwork and ventilation systems.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a site team.
- Valid Enhanced DBS clearance is required.
- Relevant site qualifications/cards where required.
