Marmon Lift Recruitment is seeking an experienced Lift Service Engineer (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) to join a highly reputable and growing lift company operating across Central London.
This is a service, minor repair, and callout position, focused on maintaining a local route of well-managed passenger lifts. The role offers excellent earning potential, paid travel time, and the opportunity to progress within a company that values internal development and continuous training.
Key Responsibilities of a Lift Service Engineer:- Carry out routine lift servicing, maintenance, and minor repairs on a range of passenger lift systems.
- Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently, providing first-time fixes wherever possible.
- Maintain accurate service records and manage parts orders.
- Respond to emergency callouts as part of a flexible 1-in-5 callout rota.
- Ensure all work meets the highest standards of health & safety and regulatory compliance.
- Deliver excellent customer service and represent the company professionally on-site.
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) - Essential
- Minimum 3 years experience in lift servicing and minor repair - Essential
- Full clean UK driving licence - Essential
- Sound knowledge of various lift manufacturers and control systems
- Confident managing an independent Central London service route
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work unsupervised
