Basic Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 + paid overtime

Marmon Lift Recruitment is seeking an experienced Lift Regional Technician to join a global lift engineering company, supporting engineers and customers across Scotland's Central Belt. This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished lift professional with strong fault-finding and technical assessment skills. You will maintain and repair lift equipment while providing regional technical support to field-based engineers. Candidates must hold an NVQ Level 4 in Lift Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
The Lift Technician Role
- Diagnose complex electrical and mechanical faults across lift equipment.
- Complete detailed technical assessments and provide regional support to engineers.
- Service and maintain lift equipment and components.
- Repair or replace faulty lift parts.
- Support engineers with challenging breakdowns and technical issues.
- Travel throughout Glasgow, Edinburgh and the wider Central Belt.
- Participate in out-of-hours work on a pro-rata basis.
- Ensure all work complies with company procedures and health and safety regulations.
Ideal Lift Technician Candidate
- NVQ Level 4 in Lift Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong lift fault-finding and technical assessment experience.
- Experience servicing, maintaining and repairing lift equipment.
- Able to provide clear technical guidance and support to other engineers.
- Organised, proactive, and able to use your own initiative.
- Strong customer-care skills and a positive approach to change.
- Committed to professional development and taking ownership of performance.
- Strong advocate for workplace health and safety.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
