Key Responsibilities of a Lift Engineer:
- Carry out planned servicing and preventative maintenance across a dedicated portfolio of lifts throughout West London.
- Complete routine inspections, identify defects, and carry out minor repairs to ensure equipment remains safe and reliable.
- Diagnose faults during servicing visits and recommend appropriate repair work.
- Record service activities, defects, and parts requirements, using company systems.
- Liaise professionally with customers, providing updates and maintaining excellent service standards.
- Work safely, ensuring compliance with industry standards, company procedures, and health & safety regulations.
Requirements of a Lift Engineer:
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) - Essential
- Full UK driving licence - Essential
- Previous experience servicing and maintaining lifts - Essential
- Good working knowledge of a variety of lift manufacturers and control systems.
- Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to work independently.
- Able to manage a dedicated West London service route efficiently.
