The job purpose is to coordinate and support logistics operations with a strong emphasis on export/import processes, and the timely movement of goods across international borders. The role ensures accurate documentation, customs declarations, and communication with hauliers.**Key Responsibilities**Customs & Compliance* Prepare and submit accurate import/export documents and liaise with hauliers and couriers* Keep records of all customs documentation for audit purposesLogistics Administration* Coordinate shipments with hauliers and couriers (air, sea, and road)* Track and trace shipments and proactively address any delays or issues* Process shipping and customs documents (delivery notes, commercial invoices, packing lists)* Work with purchasing, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations* Maintain MRP system data related to shipments* General admin work – i.e. archiving all customs documents**Desired experience, skills:*** Experience in logistics or supply chain administration* Minimum 2–3 years experience dealing with customs and international shipping* Knowledge of UK, EU, and international trade regulations, including export/import documentation* Familiarity with Incoterms and HS Codes* High attention to detail and accuracy with documentation* Strong organisational and multitasking skills.* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)* Ability to work independently and manage deadlines* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience with MRP systems* Team player with the ability to work self-sufficiently* Positive can-do attitude.* Problem solver.Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.Wherever you\’re at in your career, our people and resources will help you go further.
