Marmon Foodservice Technologies UK Limited is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team where people make the difference! As part of Marmon Holdings, Inc., we rely heavily on individuals with the aptitude, attitude, and entrepreneurial spirit to drive our success.
The primary responsibilities include:
- Acting as the main point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Developing and maintaining a good understanding of MFT equipment and spare parts.
- Maintaining customer satisfaction to the desired level.
- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring on-time delivery, order fulfilment, and timely invoicing.
- Coordinating with relevant departments across the company (i.e. Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, QA, etc.).
Function and Responsibilities:
- Improving MFT customer satisfaction after the sale by providing consistent and expeditious customer service.
- Helping customers solve problems with products or services and answering urgent questions.
- Preventing potential issues and ensuring short- and long-term customer success.
- Building trust and sustainable relationships with customers through open and interactive communication.
- Ensuring appropriate order flow and compliance with organizational policies.
- Handling cancellations or changes in sales orders and communicating such changes effectively and timely to all relevant departments.
- Meeting team metrics for order entry lead-time, order accuracy, and days to ship, including on-time delivery.
- Supporting the fulfilment of sales budget and latest views commitments.
Required Qualifications, Skills/Competencies:
- Strong communication skills.
- Organisational skills to develop a clear working process for following up on quotes, orders, and invoicing for MFT customers.
- Fluent in English; other language skills (Czech, German) are desirable.
- Strong sense of urgency and willingness to take ownership, with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Comfortable working under pressure.
- Computer literate (MS Office package); ERP experience (SAP) and advanced Excel skills are a plus.
- 2 years of practical experience in a similar position; previous EMEA experience is desirable.
