Our Client: Multi-sector & Multi-Vendor Technology Reseller / VAR / MSP

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Business Development: Create and execute sales strategies targeting UK FE & Independent schools, building a healthy and consistent pipeline to achieve sales targets.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and other business development activities.
- Identify new sales opportunities, and lead consultative selling conversations, leveraging market research and industry/sector insights.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and renewals, ensuring commercial success and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver and implement tailored solutions, ensuring a smooth onboarding/transition.
- Ensure all sales activity and account information is consistently and accurately recorded within the internal CRM system.
- Account Management & Development: Create and execute strategic account plans to retain and grow spend within existing customer base of FE & Independent Schools.
- Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key-decision makers and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular account reviews, identifying renewals and upsell opportunities.
- Provide market insights to the relevant internal teams, sharing best practices, customer feedback, and intelligence to support peers and inform product/marketing strategies.
- Represent the business at local/national education conferences, exhibitions, and events.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years Sales Account Manager, Business Development Manager, or similar role within Education Technology / VAR / Channel.
- FE & Independent Schools experience.
- Commercially astute and target driven with a track record of achieving/exceeding targets.
- Confident, enthusiastic, and highly self-motivated with a consultative sales approach.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills both written and verbal.
- Experience with Salesforce is preferred but is not essential.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft suite, and CRM software.
- UK resident with unrestricted right to work in the UK; please note that we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.
