We are working with a well-established and highly innovative engineering business to recruit a Sales Support Administrator to join their growing team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role combining sales support, research, administration, and marketing coordination within a collaborative and supportive environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting the commercial function, working closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities, manage incoming enquiries, and ensure a smooth sales and order process from initial lead through to delivery and installation.

This is a dynamic position suited to someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats. From researching new markets to supporting large-scale, technically complex sales projects, no two days will be the same. Working closely with the internal and external sales teams, you will play a key role in keeping the sales pipeline moving, ensuring opportunities are correctly identified, progressed, and supported through to installation. You’ll assist senior leaders, providing ad hoc administrative support, assisting with event planning, and helping to maintain online content and company data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and new business opportunities
  • Generate and qualify leads, passing relevant opportunities to the sales team
  • Maintain and update CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics) with accurate customer and pipeline data
  • Support the sales process by preparing quotes, pricing, and documentation
  • Process customer orders and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery
  • Liaise with service and operations teams to support complex installations
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the leadership team
  • Support website updates and wider marketing administration tasks
Key Skills:
  • Prior experience in sales administration, customer support, or a similar operational role
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload
  • An analytical and investigative mindset; comfortable using data to support decisions
  • An interest in technical products, engineering, or manufacturing (experience not essential, curiosity is)
  • Confidence working with CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics or similar)
  • A proactive, dependable approach with the desire to be a key support within a growing team

If you’re organised, inquisitive, and looking to develop your career within a successful and expanding manufacturing business, we’d love to hear from you. Please apply today by submitting your CV.
