We're searching for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a growing FMCG manufacturer based in Harrogate. Salary: £50,000 pa (increases to £52,670 after probation).

Candidates must be a UK Resident residing within the local area.
Shift Pattern: 12-Hour Panama Shifts (7am – 7pm & 7pm – 7am)
Week 1 – Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun
We are looking to speak with candidates that have prior experience in a manufacturing environment within the FMCG industry, preferably food and beverage, although mechanical or electrical maintenance experience is more important. Ideally, you’ll be a multi-skilled engineer, with electrical and mechanical maintenance experience, fault finding and resolution; with solid automated process control/PLC experience and servo motor control knowledge.
Responsibilities include:
- Electrical fault finding and installation/testing
- Mechanical servicing and repairs – Welding/turning
- Compressors, steam boilers, water treatment, electrical distribution
- Electrical/Mechanical City & Guilds or equivalent qualification
- Understanding of network control ASi systems
- PLC programming experience
- Continuously monitor and report on all equipment performance
- Maintaining and repairing plant and equipment when necessary
- Fault finding, repairs and maintenance on high speed, automated manufacturing machinery
- Undertaking reactive and planned maintenance on a range of specialist and high-tech machinery, predominately Krones
- Ensuring all engineering procedures are adhered to including Health and Safety, quality, hygiene, and general housekeeping
- Performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on major issues and communicating to the wider team
