We're recruiting a Chartered Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established consultancy in Harrogate. Due to continued growth, this role offers excellent career progression and strategic involvement within the business. You'll primarily work on healthcare sector projects, while also gaining exposure to a variety of developments across multiple industries.
About You
- Chartered (RICS or equivalent)
- 5+ years' post-qualification experience
- BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Experience delivering healthcare projects
- Strong pre & post-contract experience
- Knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
- Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple projects
- Full UK driving licence & own vehicle
- UK resident with unrestricted right to work
The Role
You'll assess and manage the full commerciality of projects and deliver cost consultancy services for a variety of clients, projects and developments. You'll provide insight into the profitability and risks associated with client projects, whilst managing all financial aspects of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all financial aspects of construction projects, from feasibility to final account
- Provide cost analysis, advice, and reports to clients
- Prepare tender/contract documents, negotiate contracts, manage valuations and variations
- Support and mentor junior team members
