We’re searching for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with professional chartership to join an established consultancy practice in Harrogate. After continued growth over recent years, this business is offering significant opportunity for career progression and strategic involvement. You’ll primarily work across healthcare projects; however, this consultancy covers various industries and you’ll be given continuous exposure to a variety of projects.

  • Must be a UK Resident residing within the local area.
  • BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar related degree.
  • Proven experience working on Healthcare projects.
  • Strong pre- and post-contract experience.
  • A background in construction.
  • The ability to manage a changing workload and a history of success delivering multiple projects.
  • Valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be responsible for assessing and managing the full commerciality of projects and delivering cost consultancy services for a variety of clients, projects and developments. You will provide valued insight into the profitability and risks associated with existing and future client projects, whilst managing and overseeing all financial aspects of construction projects, from feasibility through to final account. Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to the highest of standards.

  • Preparing and analysing project costings for tenders, such as materials, quantities, labour, and time.
  • Contract administration including valuations, variations, and final accounts.
  • Providing cost analysis, advice, and reports to clients throughout the project lifecycle.
