We are recruiting for Production Operatives to join a leading food manufacturing business based in Harrogate.

  • Starting Salary: £32,680 (£30,000 basic + £2,680 shift allowance)
  • After successful probation: £33,661 (£30,900 basic + £2,761 shift allowance)
  • Shift Pattern
  • 12-Hour Panama Shifts (Days & Nights)
  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
  • Week 2: Wednesday & Thursday

This shift pattern provides regular extended periods off throughout the month, offering an excellent work-life balance.

  • What You\'ll Be Doing
  • Operating and monitoring production machinery to ensure efficient and accurate production.
  • Carrying out machine changeovers safely and efficiently.
  • Performing routine equipment checks and basic preventative maintenance.
  • Monitoring product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Reporting machinery faults and equipment issues promptly.
  • Following standard operating procedures and health & safety guidelines at all times.
  • Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and housekeeping across the production area.
  • What We\'re Looking For
  • Previous experience within a food manufacturing or production environment.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A strong awareness of health and safety practices.
  • A Forklift Licence would be advantageous, although full training can be provided.
