We are supporting a fast-growing AI Saa S business with the appointment of a
Technical Professional Services Manager.
Initially, your focus will be on leading and delivering complex Professional Services projects for customers post go-live, ensuring they maximise value from our client’s innovative AI-driven platform.
This is a hands-on role where you'll personally scope, design and deliver customer workflow automation projects, translating customer requirements into practical technical solutions.
You’ll work closely with customers to understand their processes, build automated workflows and integrations and support successful implementations while establishing the governance, methodologies and operational frameworks required to support future growth of the Professional Services function.
Working closely with the COO and wider leadership team, you'll play a key role in shaping the future direction of customer delivery.
As the business scales, you'll be responsible for building and developing a Professional Services team, introducing new consultancy and optimisation services, and taking ownership of the wider customer journey across Professional Services, Customer Success and Onboarding.
The role offers a clear pathway towards Director-level leadership as the function and team continue to expand.

The Role
- Lead customer-facing Professional Services projects, managing scope, delivery, stakeholder communication and commercial performance.
- Establish the delivery methodologies, governance frameworks and estimation processes required to support a scalable Professional Services function.
- Develop new value-added services including consultancy, optimisation, training and managed services to enhance customer outcomes and generate additional revenue.
- Monitor utilisation, customer satisfaction and project performance, driving continuous improvement across service delivery.
- Working with the COO and wider SLT to shape the long-term strategy and growth of the Professional Services function.
- Build the foundations for future team growth, including resource planning, operational processes and performance reporting.
- Technical Expertise
- Proven experience designing and delivering workflow automation, systems integration or business process automation solutions, with the ability to translate customer requirements into practical technical workflows.
- Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, connectors and automation platforms. Experience with platforms such as Power Automate, Zapier, or similar would be advantageous.
- Comfortable remaining hands-on with customer project delivery rather than operating purely in a strategic management capacity initially.
- Leadership & Commercial Capability
- Leadership experience within a Saa S or technology-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of AI, Saa S, automation or enterprise software solutions.
- Proven track record delivering customer-facing software implementation, transformation or consultancy projects.
- Experience building, improving or scaling delivery operations, processes or Professional Services capabilities.
- Commercially aware, with experience managing utilisation, project profitability, customer outcomes and service performance.
- Strong project, stakeholder and people leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience with Field Service Management (FSM), CRM platforms, onboarding programmes, governance frameworks or AI-driven workflow automation would be advantageous.
