The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Performance Director, you’ll lead and grow the SEO offering, shape strategy for key clients, develop the team, and strengthen cross-channel delivery across the agency.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • SEO Leadership & Growth: Own and evolve the agency’s SEO offering across traditional search and emerging areas incl. LLM visibility, ensuring high-quality, commercially strong delivery.
  • Strategy & Delivery: Create KPI-led SEO strategies for key clients, aligned to business goals and measurable results.
  • Cross-Channel Collaboration: Partner with content, digital PR, and web teams to improve integration, content performance, user experience, and migrations.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop the SEO team, share best practice, and act as the internal SEO expert.
  • Commercial Support: Support pitches and new business by clearly presenting the agency’s SEO value and capability.

Skills & Experience:

  • Senior SEO leadership experience in a marketing or digital agency.
  • Strong organic growth track record across multiple clients.
  • Team management experience with a focus on coaching and performance.
  • Strong technical SEO skills and a practical, solutions-led approach.
  • Deep SEO knowledge across content, links, search systems, and LLM visibility.
  • Passion for modern SEO and building a market-leading offer.
  • Excellent communication and organisation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Candidates must be a UK resident living within commutable distance to Leeds. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
