You'll be working on a fast‑moving production line, playing a vital role in delivering high‑quality food products while maintaining exceptional standards of hygiene and safety.

Key Details

  • Based in Bedale
  • Working Pattern: 4 days on 2 days off
  • Hours: 8am start, finish times may vary depending on daily production targets (approx. 40 hours per week)
  • With experience and strong performance, pay can increase over time, with clear development & progression opportunities into Supervisor & Team Leader
  • 28 days holiday (including bank holidays), free lunch provided daily, free on-site parking, full PPE provided

Key Responsibilities

  • Working within a busy, clean, and safety‑focused production environment.
  • Operating, monitoring, and controlling food processing machinery.
  • Ensuring high quality packaging of food products.
  • Ensuring smooth production flow along conveyor‑based production lines.
  • Carrying out daily housekeeping, cleanliness, and hygiene tasks.
  • Stopping machinery immediately and reporting to a supervisor if any issues arise.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and food safety at all times.
  • Wearing and correctly using all provided PPE including protective clothing, boots, hairnets, and beard masks.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a chilled food production or manufacturing environment, experience within meat product production would be advantageous.
  • Flexible approach to work and open to working additional hours during peak production periods.
  • Driving licence.
  • This is a physically demanding role requiring a high level of attention to cleanliness, quality, and hygiene.
  • Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Proven ability to meet production deadlines and ensure that orders are completed on time.
  • Comfortable working within a chilled production line environment.
  • Due to the nature of this role, candidates must have a permanent Right to Work in the UK, residing within a commutable distance to Bedale.
