  • Segment accounts using CRM data, pipeline insight, and market intelligence to prioritise activity effectively
  • Maintain deep understanding of NHS structures, ICS frameworks, procurement cycles, and key stakeholders
  • Identify and track upcoming tenders, framework renewals, and strategic opportunities
  • Key Account Management
    • Take senior commercial ownership of key NHS and healthcare accounts within your territory
    • Develop structured account plans with clear revenue goals, engagement strategies, and growth opportunities
    • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with senior stakeholders, demonstrating value, ROI, and performance impact
    • Manage contract renewals, pricing discussions, and framework re-tenders in collaboration with leadership
    • Strengthen long-term relationships with procurement, infection control, estates, and facilities teams
  • New Business Development
    • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new opportunities across NHS Trusts, ICS structures, and private healthcare providers
    • Manage full sales cycles from prospecting through to negotiation, contract award, and mobilisation
    • Leverage established networks within healthcare procurement, infection control, and facilities management
    • Represent the business at exhibitions, procurement forums, and industry events as a credible brand ambassador
    • Drive multi-site and framework-level opportunities wherever possible
  • Reporting, Data & Commercial Insight
    • Maintain accurate CRM records for forecasting, pipeline visibility, and activity tracking
    • Contribute to monthly and quarterly commercial reporting and performance reviews
    • Analyse territory data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities
    • Provide market intelligence and competitor insights to inform pricing, product, and marketing strategy
    • Support leadership reporting, including dashboards and performance presentations where required

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Minimum 5 years’ field-based sales experience, including at least 3 years in healthcare, medical devices, or NHS supply environments
    • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets
    • Strong established network within NHS procurement, infection control, estates, or facilities management
    • Experience managing complex NHS or public sector procurement processes end-to-end
    • Confidence delivering structured account reviews and QBRs with senior stakeholders
    • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data and shape territory strategy
    • Proficiency in CRM systems for forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
