Marluxâ„¢ Medical is a trusted UK manufacturer specialising in 100% recyclable privacy curtains for healthcare environments - supplying, installing, and servicing curtain systems for NHS trusts and private hospitals nationwide. This is a hybrid role across our Service and Operations departments. Roughly half the year you are out on the road, supporting curtain installations, exchanges, and surveys at NHS and private hospital sites across the UK. The other half, you are back at our Coleshill facility keeping warehouse and distribution running smoothly. On site, you are the face of Marlux Medical. Back at base, you are a core part of a tight operations team. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that requires high standards of professionalism, reliability and self-sufficiency within live hospital environments.
What you will be doing:
- Service delivery
- Supporting installations, exchanges, surveys, trials, and adaptations at hospital sites nationwide
- Acting as a reliable on-site contact for customers, working independently where required
- Conducting site surveys and supporting new customer implementations
- Assisting with product demos and subcontractor inductions
- Warehouse operations
- Processing and transacting customer orders via our ERP system (EFACS)
- Managing daily courier and palletised dispatch
- Operating a counterbalance forklift for loading, unloading, and dispatch
- Maintaining stock accuracy, goods-in records, and LEAN 6S standards
- Compliance and documentation
- Keeping service records, job reports, and handover documentation accurate and timely
- Supporting recycling and waste management activity - including accurate data recording and Waste
