Overview
Established for over 20 years, Marlowe Smoke Control are specialists in the supply, installation and maintenance of Smoke Ventilation Systems UK Wide. We are looking for a Service Engineer to work at our sites as a key member of our service and commissioning team.
What are we looking for?
We need a motivated and detail-oriented Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience servicing smoke ventilation projects, ensuring compliance and building regulations.
- Experience of software-based control systems, and an ability to write and update system software, or eagerness to learn.
- An ability to physically check, maintain, and diagnose mechanical & electrical work.
- Understanding of electrical circuits within control panels.
- An ability to problem solve, think outside of the box, and provide thorough solutions.
- Site experience, ideally holding a CSCS Card.
- Willing to participate on a weekend cover rota (approximately every 6 weeks).
- Always aims to deliver great customer service, but you are not afraid to say ‘No’ when needed.
- Be passionate about buildings and love working with people.
- You will have a methodical and practical attitude and good attention to detail.
- You will be a natural and enthusiastic communicator.
Beneficial (not essential)
- 18th Edition Electrical qualification or other recognised electrical qualification.
- Site experience, ideally holding a CSCS Card.
- Experience working at height.
