Marlowe Kitchen Fire Suppression is a leading provider of kitchen fire suppression systems in the UK, focused on delivering high-quality design, installation, and maintenance for various establishments including hotels, restaurants, schools, and more. We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Trainee Ansul Service Engineers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to start a rewarding career in the fire safety industry.

Basic Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting experienced engineers in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of Ansul R102 and Piranha fire suppression systems.
  • Learning to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
  • Shadowing engineers to understand the compliance requirements with relevant British Standards.
  • Participating in training sessions and workshops to build knowledge and skills.
  • Gaining hands-on experience on fieldwork guided by senior team members.
  • Supporting the team in various projects and tasks as required.

  • A genuine interest in mechanical and electrical systems with a desire to learn.
  • No prior experience required; however, any relevant experience in engineering or technical fields will be advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel and stay away from home as necessary.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is preferred.

  • Basic Salary: £25,000 Subject to experience
  • Overtime: Double pay at weekends, triple pay on bank holidays
