Responsibilities
- Install, service, commission, and maintain gaseous fire suppression systems and fire alarm systems, specifically FM-200, Novec 1230, and inert gas systems (e.g., IG-55, IG-541).
- Conduct system testing, inspections, and leak detection in accordance with BS EN and ISO standards.
- Provide timely and effective fault diagnosis and repairs.
- Ensure all works are completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including service reports, risk assessments, and commissioning records.
- Liaise professionally with clients on-site and provide technical advice as required.
- Stay up to date with current regulations, products, and industry developments.
- Participate in on-call rota or emergency response duties if required.
Qualifications
- Valid F-Gas certification (Category 1 preferred).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong understanding of BS 5306-4, BS EN 15004, and relevant fire protection regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with integrated fire detection and control systems.
- ECS/CSCS card or other site safety certifications.
