Marlowe Fire & Security are the fastest growing fire & security business in the UK. From initial design, supply and installation, through to ongoing maintenance and monitoring, we maintain the capability to help prevent, detect and monitor Fire and Security risks for our customers up and down the country. We are currently looking to appoint an experienced Portable Fire Extinguisher Engineer specifically covering the North East region.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service and maintenance of fire extinguishers, hose reels, and fire suppression systems for a diverse range of local clients.
- Install, service, and maintain portable fire extinguishers, hose reels, and kitchen fire suppression systems.
- Adhere to current industry standards and customer specifications.
- Plan and conduct service visits efficiently to meet customer needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Manage equipment and vehicle stock effectively.
- Contribute to a professional team environment while maintaining high service standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the maintenance and servicing of fire extinguishers is essential.
- Relevant qualifications such as BAFE, FETA, or an equivalent certification.
- Background in mechanical fire service or related technical fields.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Capable of working independently and confidently diagnosing and resolving issues.
- Willingness to travel as required and participate in ongoing training and development.
- Experience with additional mechanical fire systems is highly advantageous.
- A valid driver’s licence is required.
