Trainee Fire & Security Inspection Engineer – South Wales
We are looking to appoint a number of Trainee Fire & Security Engineers within Marlowe Fire & Security throughout various locations across the UK.
A basic starting salary of £24,000 per annum
On Target Earnings – £28,000 – £30,000 including bonuses & overtime.

No experience is necessary as our in-house Training Academy will give you the skills you need to work in our exciting business and kick-start your new career. However, experience / understanding / education within the electrical industry would be a significant advantage.
The Role
You will be trained to service a wide variety of fire and security systems all located within a compact geographical area. You will be provided with a company van and all the tools that you need to carry out your work.
This is an entry-level role in the fire and security industry, but continuous development opportunities will be available for candidates that decide they want to become a fully qualified fire & security engineer.
Requirements
Who We’re Looking For
These are Trainee roles within the business; therefore, we are not looking for candidates who are already experienced in these disciplines. We can provide the training you need to start your career in the Fire & Security Industry.
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following attributes:
- Electrical and or Engineering experience would be preferred but not mandatory
- Willingness to learn and develop within a growing organisation
- Great attention to detail
- Professional and presentable at all times
- Be able to deliver exceptional customer service
- Must be able to perform well as an individual as well as part of a team
- Must have a positive attitude.
- Full driving licence – mandatory
Induction / Start Date / Training
- Our inductions will commence on the 18th November 2024 – this start date is mandatory
- The training programme will run for 12 weeks which will be a combination of classroom training and on-site training. There will be Christmas Bank Holidays within this period.
- Our inductions and classroom training is delivered at our Training Academy at Salford Quays. You will be required to attend for week-long training for each alternate week. Travel, accommodation and food/drink expenses will be provided on the days that you are at the Academy.
- Your on-site training will be in your local region where you will be buddied-up with an experienced Engineer
- Full attendance for all training is mandatory
