Marlowe Fire & Security, a specialist within Marlowe Fire and Security Group, is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Minor Works Engineer to join their team.

Role Overview

The role involves collaborating with the Minor Works / Installations Team on small projects from start to finish, including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder, and Fire Alarm Systems. The successful candidate will contribute to the team, delivering exceptional customer service and being rewarded for it.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the Lead Engineer on challenging sites and critical issues.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and onsite clients.
  • Maintain Fire & Security Systems within your region as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and schedulers for site visits.
  • Utilize customer portals as directed by your Lead Engineer.
  • Support Service Engineers on specific jobs and occasionally work outside your designated postcode.
  • Plan and respond to routine and reactive calls in your area.
  • Manage stock levels with support from the Stores team.
  • Attend training sessions and team meetings as required.
  • Identify personal training needs to enhance customer service.

  • Intruder: Galaxy, Texecom, Scantronic, Menvier, Risco
  • CCTV: Hikvision, Dahua, Bosch, Generic Analogue Systems
  • Access Control: Paxton, PAC, Salto

Candidate Profile

  • Solid knowledge of Fire and Security Systems.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role involving Fire & Security installation.
  • Technical background in electrical/electronic industries.
  • Experience with customer-facing roles preferred.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and ability to commission multi-disciplined systems.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Professional, well-presented, and computer literate.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
