WCS Group are part of the Marlowe Environmental Services. WCS Group have a fantastic opportunity available for an Experienced Water Hygiene Technician. Read on to find out more.

The successful candidate will be ideally based in the Newcastle area and will cover sites in the North East region.

Benefits

• Salary up to £28,000 (depending on experience), In addition to your basic salary there are significant opportunities to earn bonuses and overtime is readily available

• 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday.

· 23 days holiday per year plus bank holidays. After 2 complete years’ continuous service with the Company you will be entitled to one extra day of holiday for every complete year of service thereafter, to a maximum of 25 days.

· 10 extra paid days leave for Reservists and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers to attend their annual training.

Duties to be carried out:

  • Water sampling
  • Monitor water temperatures
  • Perform descaling of shower heads and hoses
  • Service Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs)
  • Carry out tank cleans

Requirements

· Previous water hygiene experience

· Hold a full manual driving licence

· Confined space trained (advantageous)

· Take pride in your work and deliver exceptional service

· Good level of computer skills

· Bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic
