Tersus Consultancy, part of Marlowe Environmental Services, is hiring Trainee Asbestos Surveyors who are ready to build a long-term, rewarding career in environmental compliance.
Base pay range
This range is provided by Marlowe Environmental Services. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience β talk with your recruiter to learn more.
What this role will look like
- Assisting senior surveyors on site inspections and surveys while gaining hands-on experience.
- Learning how to identify and assess asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) in a variety of buildings and environments.
- Collecting material samples under supervision, ensuring safe handling and compliance with regulations.
- Accurately recording site data and observations.
- Preparing clear, structured survey notes and reports, with guidance and review from qualified surveyors.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
- Liaising with clients and site contacts professionally while representing Tersus.
- Participating in structured training (including BOHS P402 certification) and ongoing mentoring to progress towards becoming a fully qualified surveyor.
- Maintaining equipment and PPE, ensuring itβs in safe, working order.
Requirements
- Structured training and 121 mentoring with industry experts
- Career progression to Qualified Surveyor
- Company van β fully equipped with all the tools you will need
- Fully funded BOHS P402 training
- Minimal (if any) overnight stays β we aim to keep work local wherever possible
- Annual salary reviews and regular performance feedback
- Β£2000 referral bonus for recommending other surveyors who join and succeed
