Requirements

  • Assisting senior surveyors on site inspections and surveys while gaining hands‑on experience.
  • Learning how to identify and assess asbestos‑containing materials (ACMs) in a variety of buildings and environments.
  • Collecting material samples under supervision, ensuring safe handling and compliance with regulations.
  • Accurately recording site data and observations.
  • Preparing clear, structured survey notes and reports, with guidance and review from qualified surveyors.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
  • Liaising with clients and site contacts professionally while representing Tersus.
  • Participating in structured training (including BOHS P402 certification) and ongoing mentoring to progress towards becoming a fully qualified surveyor.
  • Maintaining equipment and PPE, ensuring it’s in safe, working order.
