Marlowe Fire & Security’s ARC Operator’s
Working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (12hr shifts), our team provides alarm monitoring services in accordance with procedures & ARC accreditation. Handling incoming telephone calls in a timely & professional manner. The team provides an Out of hours service callout function in accordance with our Group requirements and policies.
- Provide monitoring of remote alarm systems & incoming signals from various security devices. Assess the nature and severity of each alarm or alert received, determining whether it requires immediate action, dispatching emergency services if necessary or contacting designated personnel or authorities.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, emergency responders, and other stakeholders to provide necessary information, relay instructions, and coordinate response efforts.
- Help provide the service provision for MFSG by dealing with incoming telephone calls, logging of call out details and dispatching to engineers as required.
- Maintain accurate records of all alarm activations, responses, and actions taken, ensuring compliance with established procedures and regulations.
- Follow standard operating procedures and protocols for alarm response, escalation procedures, and incident management, ensuring consistency and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other ARC Operators and team members to ensure seamless operation of the ARC, sharing information, providing support, and coordinating activities as needed.
- Provide an Out of Hours Service Call-Out function in accordance with MFSG requirements and policies.
- Comply with the requirements for a CAT II NSI Gold ARC
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance skills, stay updated on industry trends, and improve effectiveness in the role

- An SIA Front Line Public Space CCTV Licence is desirable.
