About Marloo
Financial advisers carry an extraordinary responsibility. They guide people through the most important financial decisions of their lives. For too long the tools available to them have been unworthy of that responsibility. We are building the AI partner that changes that. Not a notetaker, but the infrastructure the profession has always needed and never had. Backed by Blackbird Ventures, the first and largest investor in Canva, we have onboarded 650+ firms across six countries with almost zero churn in under a year. We are at the beginning of something significant and the momentum speaks for itself.
The role
The UK mid-market, around 550 firms with 6 to 50 advisers, is wide open. We are looking for our first dedicated outbound hire to go after it. You will build the function from scratch: the list, the messaging, the cadence, and the playbook. You will own running it. You will coordinate with Georgia (events and partnerships) and Jack (UK go-to-market) so accounts do not overlap. Larger firms (10+ advisers) hand off to the founding team after the first demo. Smaller firms you own through to close. This is a stepping stone role. The path from here is to AE, sales lead, or wherever your spike takes you.
What You’ll Do
- Build Marloo’s outbound motion
- Own your target list, your outreach, and the systems that make it repeatable
- Use AI as leverage. Whatever tool gets you to a booked demo faster
- Run first demos for smaller firms and close them yourself
- Hand off larger firms to the founding team after the first demo
- Feed the market back to us: objections, competitor mentions, what is landing
You’re a fit if
- You have done outbound before, formally or through scrappy hustle at an early stage company
- You are coachable, hungry, competitive, and sharp
- You are a natural on the phone and your cold outreach does not sound like cold outreach
- You would rather be making calls than sitting in planning meetings
- You are an active AI user who finds leverage in every tool you touch
- You are London based and want to be in the office
Nice to have
- Experience with Clay, Apollo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Background in fintech, financial services, or regulated industries
- Early stage startup experience
Compensation and Benefits
£40,000 to £60,000 base. Offers Equity. Offers Commission. Office first in central London. Salary range: £40-60k depending on experience. Exceptions on a case‑by‑case basis and determined relative to open compensation standards. Happy to discuss what that would look like for you specifically during our interview process.
