Our client, a leading global financial services organization, is seeking a European Head of Infrastructure to lead a high-performing technology delivery function across the region. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior infrastructure leader to drive strategic transformation, oversee critical infrastructure services, and influence key business decisions at the highest level.

This Director-level position will lead a large team of technology professionals across London, Dublin, and Belfast, with responsibility for delivering and optimizing core infrastructure services, including Data Centres, Compute, Networks, Third-Party Connectivity, Trader Telephony, AV, Service Delivery, and the Global Service Desk. The role will report to the UK Chief Information Officer and functionally to the Global Head of Infrastructure Technology & Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a regional infrastructure team, ensuring best-in-class service delivery.
  • Drive transformation and innovation, optimizing infrastructure services to meet evolving business needs.
  • Manage infrastructure risk and compliance, working closely with internal risk and governance teams.
  • Oversee the regional infrastructure budget, driving cost efficiencies and strategic investments.
  • Influence senior stakeholders across business and technology functions, ensuring alignment with global IT strategies.
  • Act as a key regional representative in global forums, advocating for regional business needs.
Candidate Profile
  • 7+ years' experience (10+ preferred) in infrastructure leadership, ideally within financial services or a similarly regulated environment.
  • Proven ability to lead large, multi-site teams in a complex, global organization.
  • Strong expertise in managing critical infrastructure services, risk, and compliance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including experience working with executive leadership.
  • A strategic thinker with a track record of driving transformation and operational excellence.

This role requires regular onsite presence due to its leadership and stakeholder engagement responsibilities. Some travel between London, Dublin, and Belfast, as well as occasional trips to North America, may be required.
