Are you ready to lead the charge in the renewable energy revolution? We’re seeking a dynamic Renewables Trader to spearhead our clients Global Renewable Trading activities across Europe.
Your Role:
- Lead Transactions: Originate and structure deals with corporate clients across the UK, Europe, Americas, Japan, and the APAC region.
- Manage Commodity Positions: Oversee renewable commodity positions, maintaining a clear view of volumetric and value metrics.
- Build Relationships: Develop and nurture connections with wholesale customers, brokers, and corporate clients.
- Drive Marketing Efforts: Represent us at conferences, deliver presentations, and collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling content.
- Execute Trades: Improve book value through strategic transactions and manage client flow from our retail and PPA activities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Proven track record in Gas, Power, Energy Attribute Certificates, and/or Carbon Emissions Reduction Certificates trading.
- Marketing Skills: Extensive experience marketing commodity products to corporate clients and analyzing market data to formulate commercial strategies.
- Network: A robust network in the European energy markets with deep market knowledge of renewable energy.
Analytical Expertise: Strong capability to analyze and price environmental commodities, supporting our Origination and Structured Trading Teams.
