We are a well-established London law firm seeking a qualified and experienced Conveyancing Lawyer with 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our busy and growing property team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in residential and/or commercial property transactions and be confident managing files independently from instruction to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a full caseload of conveyancing matters including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and lease extensions.
- Advise clients on all aspects of the conveyancing process, ensuring clear, accurate, and timely communication.
- Conduct due diligence including reviewing title deeds, contracts, and searches.
- Liaise effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors.
- Draft and review legal documentation and correspondence.
- Ensure all files are compliant with regulatory and internal standards.
- Contribute to business development and client relationship management initiatives as required.
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 3 to 5 years PQE in conveyancing.
- Strong knowledge of residential property law; commercial experience is a plus but not essential.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills.
- Client-focused with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in case management systems and Microsoft Office.
