Recruitment Consultant at Marlin Selection

Our client, a commodities firm is looking for an Mandarin Speaking Accountant to join their team in London.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Oversee month-end account closures, reconciliations, and coordinate with headquarters’ finance team to ensure data accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, including group reporting packages and reconciliation and confirmation of intercompany transactions.
• Analyse and report variances in administrative expenses against budget.
• Liaise with headquarters to ensure adherence to group accounting policies and compliance requirements.

You will need to have the following experience:

• Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with substantial experience in financial accounting.
• Proficient in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a bilingual business environment.
• Knowledgeable in IFRS and UK statutory accounting and reporting standards.
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
