Our client, a commodity trading firm, is looking for a Junior Trade Support Analyst to join their Metals team in London.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring trade details are accurately captured and reconciled within internal systems in line with contractual agreements
- Working cross-functionally with trading, operations, and middle office teams to resolve discrepancies and implement trade updates
- Maintaining and updating key operational data, including assay results, delivery schedules, and physical movements
- Supporting the setup and tracking of logistics, storage, and transportation arrangements
- Validating pricing events and contract amendments in coordination with relevant stakeholders
Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field
- 1–2 years’ experience (including internships) within commodity trade support, operations, or middle office
- Exposure to metals or raw materials markets is beneficial
- Strong understanding of trade lifecycle processes and attention to detail
