Job Description
Our client, a global commodity Hedge Fund, is looking for a Portfolio and Pricing Valuations Specialist to join their growing team.
Job Function: The successful candidate will join our client's global Commodities Portfolio Pricing and Valuations team to lead pricing and valuations efforts in the EMEA region.
Principal Responsibilities:
- EMEA Subject Matter Expert: Lead efforts in the development and maintenance of a best-in-class real-time pricing, risk, and P&L platform.
- Innovate Pricing Models: Design and productionize new pricing models, presenting proposals to senior stakeholders.
- Data Integrity: Manage existing data and system workflows to ensure the integrity of real-time P&L and risk representation.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Quant Research, Risk, Middle Office, Operations, and Technology and Data teams to advance the real-time pricing and valuations framework.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Experience: 3-5 years
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of EMEA commodity trading markets and tradable instruments, particularly across the Energy sector.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrates thoroughness and strong ownership of work.
- Independence & Collaboration: Strong ability to work independently while effectively collaborating across teams.
- High-Pressure Performance: Able to prioritize and deliver in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment.
