Role Summary
The firm is looking for a senior electronic trading specialist to drive business development, expand market presence, and strengthen engagement with institutional clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in electronic trading sales, deep technical knowledge of algorithms and execution strategies, and strong relationships across asset managers, brokers, and market participants. This individual will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, cross‑selling electronic trading solutions, and shaping the strategic direction of the execution business in EMEA. The role reports to the regional Head of Business Development and spans Equities, Multi‑Asset, and Execution & Quantitative Services (EQS).
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by increasing adoption of electronic execution products and services among existing clients.
- Partner with sales teams to develop and maintain EQS marketing and product collateral.
- Expand the client base across the region and re‑activate dormant accounts.
- Support the development of messaging, branding, and client engagement strategy.
- Identify and execute cross‑selling opportunities across listed derivatives and other business lines.
- Collaborate with product and client‑facing teams to identify new business opportunities and shape innovative offerings.
- Maintain a strong understanding of all products and upcoming developments across the execution platform.
- Proactively prospect new opportunities and ensure internal stakeholders are informed of progress.
Strategic Leadership & Execution
- Work with senior stakeholders to develop the regional client strategy for EQS.
- Integrate liquidity, products, services, and distribution channels to optimise client access.
- Contribute to innovation by proposing new products, services, and revenue diversification initiatives.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Strengthen relationships with asset managers, brokers, and market participants to enhance engagement and satisfaction.
- Represent the business at industry conferences, networking events, and professional forums.
Experience & Competencies
- Deep knowledge of electronic trading and algorithmic execution strategies.
- Proven track record of managing revenue and delivering strong commercial outcomes.
- Experience building and managing execution businesses.
