We’re working with a technology-driven firm seeking an ambitious Execution Trader to join their interest rate derivatives team. Role Overview
The successful candidate will focus on executing listed interest rate futures and options across global markets, covering G3 rates products. You’ll manage complex order flow, work across electronic platforms and voice channels, and support best‑execution for a sophisticated client base. The role requires strong derivatives knowledge, real‑time risk awareness, and the ability to operate confidently in fast‑moving markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute listed interest rate futures and options across global exchanges and liquidity pools
- Manage spreads, strips, and multi‑leg options strategies
- Calculate and manage hedges, Greeks, and synthetic pricing in real time
- Execute electronically, via voice, and through hybrid workflows
- Maintain strong market awareness around rates, volatility, and liquidity conditions
- Contribute to automation and workflow enhancements within the trading stack
Requirements
- 1–5 years’ experience executing listed futures and options within interest rate derivatives
- Strong understanding of futures/options mechanics, spreads, implied pricing, and volatility dynamics
- Proven ability to navigate electronic and hybrid execution workflows
- Comfortable with trading platforms, OMS tools, and pricing systems
- Willingness to cover New York trading hours (12–10pm UK), with remote flexibility for late shifts
- Detail‑driven, disciplined, and motivated to excel in a high‑pressure environment
